Published by EA Sports, this is the latest game to join the Madden line-up. Following his passing last year, Joe Madden is honoured by being featured on the game’s artwork. Madden NFL 23 Gameplay
Madden NFL 23 puts you in control. From drafting players to gameplay on the pitch, it’s in your hands to see your franchise through to champion status.
There are three gameplay modes where you can seek victory: Face of the Franchise: The League, Franchise, and Madden Ultimate Team. Franchise and MUT are based on the mechanic of drafting big-name players and upcoming NFL stars to create a perfectly balanced team. You’re given stats and motivations for each player, but it’s up to you how you win them over. It’s about more than just the money for some players! The key difference between modes is MUT is not limited to current players only, explore the Hall of Fame for your dream team.
In Face of the Franchise: The League you are the player. It’s your fifth NFL season, and you have one year to prove to your new team that you’re the real MVP. Tweak your performance using feedback and rewards earned through new Drive Goals and Summaries whilst Madden Ratings Adjustor, Chad Johnson, gives you career advice. Combine everything you’ve learned to skyrocket your career to the NFL Hall of Fame.
Gameplay Improvements

Sadly, the PC version of the game does not feature EA’s new innovative FieldSENSE Gameplay System. As it stands, this is only going to be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Does Madden NFL 23 Support Multiplayer?
There are two multiplayer modes for you to enjoy with Madden NFL 23. Go head-to-head against your friends in online PvP or share the screen in co-op mode.
Madden NFL 23 is available to play on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Crossplay has not been confirmed for the game’s release, and it remains an unlikely feature. Especially with FieldSENSE only being included on next-gen consoles. However, it is available to purchase on both Steam and Epic Games, which means you should be able to enjoy crossplay between PC platforms, at least.
